brightside software package provides Add reactivity to the corners and edges of your GNOME desktop, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install brightside
brightside is installed in your system.
Make ensure the brightside package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep brightside *
You will get with brightside package name, version, architecture and description in a table
